That sounds like fun! Not. I'm trying to *de*-stress after recent happenings in this country - I'll be looking for pretty, funny, upbeat movies. I happen to know that Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, with its incredible dance scenes, is lurking somewhere inside my TV. 😊 šŸ’

I’m hooked on Mindhunter on Netflix at the moment. Utterly compelling psychological drama as FBI agents interview imprisoned serial killers to better understand their minds and motivations. The seventies cars and decor, and reminders of ubiquitous smoking, are a bonus. Not for the squeamish.

saw it when it came out, brilliant series, why they stopped at two remains a mystery...

I hate that. I guess Ratings drives those decisions but some things go on for-EVER. Two seasons usually doesn't seem enough to cover all the possible material but maybe Mindhunter had nowhere else to go. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I've become quite the fan of limited series that have a beginning, a middle and an end, six eps, an hour each, and we're done.

Yes! Those are great, like an extended movie. But they don't leave you feeling you needed more. What drove me crazy about Broadchurch was that it took a whole season to solve one crime! Realistic I suppose but a bit of a stretch for me.

Yep, seen that! Was fab. I love psychological thrillers but am feeling a little seedy atm - think I've OD'd on that sort of menu for now!

always good to take a break, been watching The Sinner, with Bill Pullman, more of the weird psycholigical type, but take extended breaks in between, another nordic noir has just popped up on netflix so I'll get into that soon too..

Bill Pullman gives me the creeps - he seems like a nice guy but I'm always scared of what he's probably hiding.

The barn raising, with all those professional ballet dancer men, is my kryptonite. Also Lonesome Pole Cat. šŸ˜
