also to be clear the sentiment I espoused was “pray I don’t have to go in for jury duty” not like “jury duty is a bad system” or anything it was just inconvenient for me and work only covers 10 days of jury duty!

i got called a couple years ago and if they had selected me for the jury, there was a strong possibility i would have gone two moths without paid work. it very well could have made me homeless!
