That struck me too. No denial that she loves killing random pets. It would be an easy thing to rebuke. She's the one who told the story to begin with, presumably because she wanted to seem tough and strong. Maybe she thinks speaking against random dog shooting makes her seem weak?
It is wild, right? I wonder if she simply focuses on it bc she knows left-flankers & moderates hold that as a value. Not mocking appearance & physicality. I always wonder if all of it is cynically performative.
Yes. I think so. Also, I suspect that Noem’s self image is focused on her appearance. She’s pretty. She is. That’s what matters to her. That is her font of success.
