don't really have the infrastructure to track; it's all volunteer, but I've dealt with two of these just in the past couple weeks, both in the Miami area. fucking wretched.

Families broken, siblings taking care of young children. Now pets left behind. Neighborhoods scattered. Hell is too good a place for everyone that voted for MAGA regime.
This breaks my heart into a thousand pieces. These poor babies had families who loved them, cared for them & adored them. There's no reason they're up for adoption, other than a cruel, horrible, awful, fascist government. Wow, 'Merica, you're absolutely over. You're no longer a democracy. Horrific.
I swear to God, if I were still in L.A., I'd be taking in as many fosters as I can.
Scared to death by these goons, deported for nothing and still these lovely people find ways to see that their pets have a chance. I hope ice melts like the wicked witch of the west!

We debate this often in my home, Mals are either the dumbest smart dog or the smartest dumb dog you'll ever know. Regardless of which side you fall on it's a fact that they're smart but often 'make poor life choices' and end up in very awkward situations.
Yep. Ares is a derp, but heβs very good at keeping everybody in the house rounded up. When his elderly companion passed his folks got him a sweet pittie, who walked up to him & told him she was now the boss of him. He said βOKβ and washed her face.

Please REPOST this request to adopt pets in shelters because of ICE. Letβs help Cali shelters by finding these pets new families. If you cannot adopt - send the shelters/rescue organizations $ or help them out by volunteering. π
Hopefully, people are just fostering and taking care of these animals until their real family can claim them.

Poor little girl. Not that any dog would thrive in that environment but Mals in particular are ill suited for shelters. They are so emotional and high strung, they tend to deteriorate rapidly. Hopefully someone adopts her soon. Or one of the rescue agencies get her into a foster home.
