We seriously need to break this two party system in the US. There should be at least three parties, maybe more, but we need a lot of changes to properly support this. Not sure how we deal with the Speaker and Senate Majority leader when there is no majority. - Progressives - Centrists - MAGA
3 or 4 parties is the way to go
Perhaps like parliament in other systems. I think this would allow more conservatives to vote for Centrists if they weren't tied to the democratic party and then real progressives can have a chance without the DNC thumb. Parties can coalesce differently depending on the issue.
That is why I support a complete restructure of our government with help from our allies.

And nationwide ranked-choice top two primaries for the presidency, and a national popular vote.
Ranked choice would make such a huge difference.
Such is why AfD in Germany seems unlikely to be in the next government, there were other choices for populists and the center-right
They lost.
