Unfortunately, directly influencing (stopping) ICE from doing their job give Trump cover for sending the military. That's exactly what the lawsuit is about. He can legally send in the military IF federal agents are "unable to do their jobs."

Yes, and they’re doing great work. But that’s just one piece of the resistance. Protesting takes many forms—boycotts, mass demonstrations, holding signs on overpasses—they all matter. If this is how the community chose to stand up, good for them.
