I was going to say the US doesn't have crocs that I was aware of but gators aren't a pushover by any stretch...I keep seeing them crossing greens in golf tournaments televised from Florida..yikes!

ours are big bastards, and from something I read haven't changed much if at all since they were dinosaurs, also they are bloody fast - every year or two an Indigenous kid or a tourist gets it...

they are both really good, Bruce is an Indigenous writer and brings that unique experience to the table, Bill is an academic historian, I consider them complimentary volumes :)

absolutely, although not related but Indigenous histories like Dee Brown's Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee are must read books in my opinion.
