Apparently their respective doctors told them both to stop getting the covid booster. Even though covid caused me to get a life threatening autoimmune disease 🙄

Meanwhile here in Queensland there has been little to no action from government to get people vaccinated against flu and COVID. No major health campaigns, nothing.

I don't think, even if they wanted to, that they are game to mention it for fear of inciting cookers more - in every eastern state anyway- death threats, march/riots, aggression etc. Some CHO's might as well be RFK Jn.

Happy to let people die needlessly rather than shake up people who need a good shaking. This QLD government is not as malevolent and destructive as the Newman government was but it’s doing plenty of harm and no good that I can see.

This past winter in the US, COVID was low but flu was high. While my household still has 2 who’ve never had COVID, the flu ripped thru us like wildfire in February 2025. Based on what Aus is seeing, thinking this may repeat this winter as well. Was your last winter like this or is this the 1st time?

last, winter, well last year's winter, was pretty brutal and the flu was also high, but as this story reads influenza A has been the real bastard...haven't had anything since the first COVID outbreak, touch wood, so apart from swimming I stay far away from the madding crowd.

Here in Victoria I went to get Covid shot and the doctor asked me why I wanted it… ah WHAT! Anyway I got my Covid flu and shingles shots and now changed doctors
