You're Absolutely Right, but the Republican Cult Party changed years ago because they were considered like the Democrats. Democrats were the Klan Party while the Republicans were like Lincoln. It's called a Generational Shift.. I'm sure it will happen again.
It's important to note it wasn't Democratic party that was racist. It was conservative wing of Dems, Dixiecrats. When they disbanded, leader Thurmond joined Republican party because that's where racists felt at home after passage of Civil Rights Act. It is always conservative groups that are racist
