Why would anyone invest or visit this area? If this madness goes ahead, that area will no doubt become a major target for retaliation.

Good point too, I thought of that a while ago, now I'm locked up in wtf is nobody doing anything about this? The response from Europe, apart from Ireland, has been piss-weak. And they're all acting like this is going to work itself out. Everyone will be starved to death in a matter of days/weeks

Any tourist that travels to Gaza after it's developed as a resort once all Palestinians are ousted (that's a euphemism) will be in the same moral position as tourists visiting Auschwitz for a fun holiday. Imagine the hypocrisy.
