I'd have liked him to have said 'my daughter is at more danger from the masked Neanderthals that are amassing and shouting at the building'... But I understand he couldn't say this and why!

He could have just asked back what the reporter thought might happen before suggesting it would be frightening for her to walk passed people screaming abuse at a building
