See if you can find the year where a large cohort of scientists moved to the US from Germany. For some reason.

What is worse is that the decline in German science didn't end with WWII: it continued until the end of the 20th century, and then stabilized. That will be the US, too: most of us here will be dead before the collapse stops, and nobody here will live to see a rebound to past glory.
