Odell down under came a little before XP, sometime around 94-95. It is actually a sequel to ‘Odell Lake’ and one of the 3 main game lines of MECC, developers of Oregon Trail and Number Munchers.

MECC (Minnesota Educational Computer Corporation) had some real bops. Originally, all the software was on a single server in a Minneapolis high school and your school computer lab had to directly connect over the internet to access the historically accurate weather chart for 1870s West.
