It’s not just race, John. ICE is having a ball picking up dishwashers on their way home or day laborers at Home Depot. The mobsters you mention are violent criminals who aren’t going to go quietly. I’m guessing ICE prefers the easy pickings to make their numbers
That might be their thinking. But politically right wing Americans, magas etc, are all worked up about the brown people moving in from wherever, especially from Mexico and Central America etc. The immigrant hysteria is focused on them.
My point in raising all this anyway is the discrepancy should be raised with the administration, to show people their hypocrisy. It would be a big embarrassment to the Trump admin if reporters hit them with questions about the discrepancy. Might force them to use some of their thugs elsewhere.
An embarrassment for sure. Start with Melania and her origin story and continue with the Russians currently and previously residing in Trump Tower. These days, no reporter will ever bring these things up in a press conference but what a story if they did!
