In an earlier episode, they said that they took the Aybaras to safety with the WC looking for them, so we might see them in a future season.

Definitely missed that with my 10 minutes here and there viewing. I'm trying to give the show space to find it's feet, but the three sentences of Perrin speaking turning the whole town into a militia bugs me.

Keep in mind, the Shadow Rising is a 40+ hour audiobook and we get about 8 hours of screen time. I'm willing to accept glossing over some things for the sake of brevity. But that's also why I want more episodes, so there's less they have to compromise on.
