I wouldn't say dead. I don't think what Kennedy and Co. are doing is popular but the vibes among the pundit class won't catch up on that until mid-November

That way they can keep their lab leak theory and not have to discuss the misinformation problem that people either don’t want to talk about because they don’t know what to do about it or benefit from it.

Yeah but like, I'm not sure that we can set our goals at "make annoying opinion columnists own up to being wrong" because I don't even think their therapists could do that
