FTD just royally screwed up for my Much Better Half’s birthday. NEVER EVER AGAIN. I ordered a rose and carnation combo which was delivered, and it had a bunch of Lilies!!!! In the listing, the flowers stated were roses and carnations, NOT Lillies- Super poisonous to cats. I. Am. SUPER. Pissed.
Then they have the gall to write me back offering me a 25% refund, as if they were doing me a BIG favor. Stupid fucks. I wrote back telling them this was unacceptable. They offered another 25%, as if we are bartering? WTF. After several more stupid prefab email exchanges they agreed to full refund.
Been there- sorry for the hassle, hope everybody is safe and nobody got into them

Indeed, we had a big scare with three of ours years ago- is there any chance he could have gotten to them? Any pollen on his face or anything?
Oh, that’s scary. Pretty sure Ziggy’s safe: I only touched them to show the delivery guy they were Lillies and it stayed outside, then I came in washed my hands + arms and changed my shirt. Still monitoring, just to be sure. Fingers crossed.
That’s a relief In our case they were in the house unbeknownst to us for over an hour (a well meaning friend with a key dropped them off) 3 kitties to the ER for a couple of days, but everyone am out ok
Oh man, that’s scary…glad they are ok. This knowledge about Lillies and cats needs to be much more widely known. ESPECIALLY by florists (ZERO excuse).
Well, they *were* OK We lost 2 of them in 2022 and the last brother went just last weekend, but they lived long, happy lives and they escaped the Lilly incident pretty much unscathed We were lucky to have them and be able to afford medical treatment at the time
