Yesterday was my first day back at teaching. I…ok…well…gah. The summer has gone >>>poof<<< for me…

Looking up at a building that’s looming, where I teach. It looks back at me, looming. It looms, or at least it tries to loom. I’m not impressed with its attempted looming, although I do feel that it is looming in its own mind, or at least trying to loom. But I know better…. The barren and boring classroom where I teach with an upright piano. These are for private lessons. Even though it feels weird to be teaching in a room like this, I far prefer teaching in this room compared to the 10 x 10 enclosed hermetically sealed soundproof cubicles that they call practice rooms. Those places are disgusting, trying to teach there is awful. So I’m glad I’m here, even though it is a bit weird.
