I'm glad that Americans get to see a more realistic view of what our selfless Active Duty servicemembers do on a daily basis in garrison. Maybe this is actually going to improve civil-military relations.

But is it the best use of taxpayer money? Is it the best use of the NG’s time, as they’re deployed and not working their real jobs and away from their families? Why aren’t they in their own crime ridden cities doing trash pickup? It’s gross to use our service members as political pawns.
