Yes, we underfund education. But there are hard working teachers at every school. And libraries. I know you want to believe it's all about more money, but it really isn't. It's about culture. And that entrenched mindset will be hard to change.

I agree, but money makes programs and educational research feasible and more practical to implement. I'm a late GenXer and saw the dumbification of our educational system and cultural dumbification. Rewatch FRIENDS and notice how often Ross is booed for bringing up science and academics...
