Hi Jeff. Just a diff perspective re: Rodgers. I was *relieved* when he went down with the Achilles. To me, the ultimate Jets curse thing would be this Faustian bargain of winning the SB, but having an Actual Insane Person lead us there. To me, that's a fate worse than just sucking.

I can tolerate a lot of socio-political disagreements with athletes. They are athletes, after all. And I can even technically agree with more things Rodgers is saying than, say, Kershaw. But Rodgers has the perfect storm of smugness, laziness, and aggression behind him that disgusts me.

Summed it up perfectly. I’m old enough to have seen them win SB3 with Namath, not yet 10 years old, and little did I know that being a Jets fan would absolutely peak right there. 56 years of rebuilding since then. The team that gets everything wrong, every time.
