Procol Harum released their debut (self-titled) album in the U.S. on this day in 1967. It would include the hit single, “A Whiter Shade of Pale” released in May. That single would go on and sell more than 10 million copies worldwide. Thoughts? Favourite songs? #ProcolHarum

For me, they never improved on that debut album. Perfection.

An incredible first album and A Whiter Shade of Pale is my number one song from the sixties!!💘 Repent Walpurgis, Kaleidoscope and Conquistador are my three other favourite tracks!!👍
Procol Harum gave us SO much good music over the years. Conquistador and Christmas Camel are particular faves of mine. A great overlooked(?) band with BJ Wilson, possibly the greatest rock drummer of all time.
I saw Procol Harum and Poco in concert together and somewhere around here, I have the ticket stub to prove it..!
