Seriously, it is a thing???? Before I was diagnosed with my brain tumor, I started seeing people I know very well that way, depending on how light falls on them…. But that was laughed off by the neurologists…

The disorder that warps how a person sees faces is called prosopometamorphopsia, and a 2024 case report described a 58-year-old man who had been seeing these distortions for nearly 3 years. Scientists digitally modeled distorted faces based on his descriptions, with unnerving results 🧪
