I mean....savory and sweet is always a good match 👀
I mean....savory and sweet is always a good match 👀
Sometimes we get very experimental
using cinnamon in a rub isn't that unusual, is it? 🤔
It's more the CTC branding for it lol... It's so odd, the collab I never thought would exist
lazy glazed bacon for lazy people. I can make that shit with less sugar and taste way better
What mad experiment allowed this to reach a market?
What is this abomination...
Apparently one of the marketing folks at Hormel saw people on TikTok frying bacon after coating it with cinnamon sugar and that’s where the collab idea came from? Sweet and savory as a combo definitely makes sense but there’s definitely a cheaper and just as easy way to do this yourself.
The trend on TikTok specifically used the CTC Cinnadust that you can buy in a shaker too, so I think that’s why they partnered up. Looking back it looks like the trend started in 2021, so it’s been a little while.
I- I don't know, I don't understand.... but I do lowkey wanna give it a try.
it’s just cinnamon bacon. i don’t know why it has to be branded like that though
🤣🤣🤣🤣 NGL if it weren't for the fact it was meat I'd be curious
Oh I bought it. Full report tonight
I can't believe we have to wait all day to find out what sugar cinnamonized bacon tastes like (Probably still 99% bacon taste)
So you are going to curse us with FURTHER knowledge?
I think it is kinda like the maple bacon glazes and stuff. I do something similar around the holidays with bacon wrapped sausages and put brown sugar on top. Caramelizes and gives it a blend of salty and sweet. As for why they chose cinnamon toast crunch though we may never know lol
Yeah my gripe is more why CTC specifically lol. I'm down with maple bacon and as you said sounds amazing... But cereal? Que lol
normal bacon already has sugar so it’s just cinnamon added
As a Canadian I'm going to need you to send me at least 2 packs to test
You've got to scan that qr code for recipes. What even would they suggest?
I DIDN'T SEE THAT. I'LL UPDATE YOU THIS EVE
Yeah i'd rather keep my bacon away from anything sweet normal bacon is so good, why ruin it like that
even though normally bacon has sugar added. so really all the difference is is the cinnamon
Well it doesn't feel like it Not the one here at least
in america its standard and you have to buy specifically no sugar bacon if you dont want it
But the question is WHY DID YOU BUY IT
IT WAS 5 DOLLARS
AND?????
AND I WILL PROUDLY SHIT MY PANTS AFTER I EAT IT TONIGHT AFTER WORK
