change things at the state level in order to conform to the Canadian Constitution as new provinces. Many of those changes would never be acceptable to Americans. We have more diverging visions of government than most Americans realize, they just don’t know us well enough to know.
Any Americans that find the changes unacceptable are free to move to shithole regressive red states. They are a failed nation, in no position to dictate anything to anyone anymore
Those blue states would do much better as their own smaller and still fully American Republic, roughly as big as Canada. We’d be great neighbours and probably better allies than today, with the toxicity of red states out of our way.
