Of course not. But if you don’t care about anything but your own bottom line, I understand why you would surrender and get this regime off your back. These big law firms and judges aren’t coming to save us. We need to come to terms with that.

Seems like being a BigLaw firm with a reputation of "we won't fight, we'll just fold immediately" will be pretty bad for business, but what do I know 🤷🏼‍♂️

But a BigLaw firm with a reputation of “we’re tight with the regime and can get you those connections for the right price” will actually be pretty good for business. The problem is that you still think the law matters. It doesn’t. Power is all that matters.

These people only care about their own wealth and power. They are going to do whatever they need to to protect that.
