I have to say, the full and wide support for the authors withdrawing from the Polari Prize has been wonderful. On the other side, it’s the same stale old six people who won’t stop screaming, yet who somehow always feature heavily in articles.

I actually blame the price for giving them so much airtime. Editors still buy the story that people are being “cancelled“, which invariably means that they can be found on the front page of every newspaper in the country, expressing their views.
