His anti vax stance and his mid career comedy really pushed me back. Early career dude was tops, mid career just wasn’t for me, the antivax stuff after dating McCarthy was just sad. His dramatic work though is largely his best work, Man on the Moon and the Majestic specifically for me.

So I’ve given him more than a fair shake lol. Like I’ve seen most of his work, but there’s little I won’t watch.

I like his early days stand up comedy & have seen a few of his films, I enjoyed Liar Liar- a perfect vehicle for him . Don't know much about his private life except his mental health struggles in recent years & finding solace in art.
