You know, I was genuinely in the realm of 'Well, maybe they have real information about this' or 'Maybe they haven't looked into it and got mislead by something' up to like, 2 hours ago. It's, uh, difficult to model a reasonable thing where they don't post anything, but block (manually) hundreds.

Something like 1500 people over five minutes. That was done via script. Looks like the account did something similar back in January, but only blocked a couple hundred that time.

Fair enough, I wasn't entirely clear on how many, I scrolled back to the start and saw it at a rate of a few every minute or so starting over an hour ago, I had just assumed that rate was constant, but you're right, apparently they jumped an order of magnitude later.

And they're just posting other things now, which is certainly a Choice (nothing you likely haven't seen elsewhere, not worth looking at, was just shutting down windows). Still no actual things said about this whole situation.

Note also the shitty genAI avatar made to appear like a person. I'd call that a red flag.

So the kids have been released in that they've been stepped down from juvenile confinement to being allowed to go home pending additional proceedings. But that's typical with juvenile defendants.
