JN means the jury doesn’t give a shit if they’re guilty or not, they’re not deciding on the merits of the case.

Either way, "Throwing a sandwich is not a fucking felony" feels more like responsible use of power, not nullification.

So, nullification is not necessarily an irresponsible use of power; one of the reasons it exists is for exactly such situations. “I don’t care if it technically falls within the law or not, you should fucking feel bad for charging it.”
