The much-debated "AI bubble" appears to be the only thing holding up the economy (and holding off the Trump recession). I suspect it'll soon break (I have no authority to make such a prediction), and we'll begin seeing "downward spiral" featuring in the headlines.

If the Fed were truly "independent," wouldn't it have representation from workers, small business... y'know non-corporate bankers?
