tired of whinging on it but does ANYONE know how to effectively get rid of creative paralysis? Like the moment I get the urge to make, it is instantly killed by self doubt & existentialism... mask, VO, or making tunes... I just lock up & its killing me inside... it's all I got & I can't even do it.😣
If I'm in a slump, I try to dig around for a public domain short story. Narrating that has no risk, with no particular audience to cater to. Usually it turns out fun—and kicks me into considering larger projects.
Something you could try is to just call with friends & do *whatever* Just go with your gut & talk with your friends while you do. It gets me started & even after you burnout you'll already have a direction/foundation to go off?
