Watching CON AIR for the first time. This certainly is a movie!

"What do you think I'm gonna do? I'm gonna save the f***in' day..." Love that movie.
The best Malkovich movie
"Ooohh, nothing makes me sadder than when the agent lost his bladder in the aiiiiiirplane..." Absolutely bonkers performance. Completely unhinged.
And a star-making turn for Dave Chappelle. “Boy, your breath smells like someone took a shit in your mouth!” “He said he loved me.”
I love it too. One of my faves, peak Cage.
I love con air its so deliciously fun
"Put. The bunny. DOWN."
Really? What did you think?
One of the most movies ever to movie
It’s not a good movie. It’s a fun movie.
You poor kids will never know the experience of seeing Con Air in theater
John Malkovich sure hams it up, in a good way.
Just put the bunny back in the box
Exactly
This is one of the great movie debates with my wife. She loves it. I can’t stand it. LOL.
That is a FUN movie. It’s not deep. It’s not compelling or challenging. The dialogue is nothing special, but… It’s fun.
It understands the assignment. As long as a movie does that, I can't totally hate it regardless of genre.
To be you…. 😆 I think I saw this when I was a tween, probably weird to watch then
I long for the days for summer popcorn flicks like that. Just something that l says “look, we all know what we signed up for here, let’s just all have fun.”
Colm Meaney in the role he played was definitely a choice.
I have seen that movie SO MANY times.
this explains a lot
Rude. …But accurate.
Oh I love that one
It is!
Next watch his Alcatraz movie!
"The Rock". Cage & Connery. My grandparents were living in SF at the time that was being filmed. Some of the Hummer vs yellow sports car chase was filmed on their street. Grandma sent photos of the vehicles and Cage & Connery's stunt doubles.
That movie would not be as good as it is without John Malkovich.
“No…Cy!” “…anora” One of the greatest lines in cinematic history
Totally.
Holds up as entertainment from that era far better than 'Face-Off'!
It qualifies.
Terrible, awful movie by any reasonable measure. And I love it!
Quite
It's a wild ride - enjoy it! Also, "I'm gonna show you there is a God" still gives me goosebumps every time.
It has minutes and everything!
Whenever you say watching for the first time I think my hair greys a little more. Lol
I have never seen many a thing, unfortunately
That's okay, lol, more adventures to be had.
But Steve!! 😁
The
It’s all kinds of dumb. Fun dumb. Aggressively dumb. Insultingly dumb I wasn’t bored though.
POOIT THEE BUNN-EH BAYACK EEYUN THEE BAWUCKS
Where's your reaction video???
Put the bunny down
I can't believe you have never seen this
Enjoy...?
It's better than SPEED 2.
Siskel and Ebert gave that two thumbs up. WTF were they thinking?
Payoff.
Yet Ebert gave Die Hard thumbs down because of Dwayne. So fucking yippi ki yay what, Roger?
Define irony.
How dare the two of you besmirch one of the the great ACTION movies of the 90’s.
Such over-the-top fun.
In Oberlin OH one very hot summer I saw ConAir at the town movie theatre. The owner greeted customers at the door with a smile, welcoming words, and a bag of popcorn. I returned twice. It was glorious 🥳❤️
Yep
So jealous of you seeing it for the first time. It is the sort of movie that you would see on TV IN another movie in the background, crazy and half-thought out yet a mind-blowing experience that every person on this earth should have.
