They can happen with heart disease, kidney failure, venous insufficiency…many reasons.

Yes, I'm certainly no doctor. I just remember the stories of him when I was a child. He had a heart attack in his garden just after he retired from working as a metallurgist for Hughes Tools (Howard Hughes). He was only about 66 years old and did not eat well, smoked cigars. Lived a few days after.
