Definitely lining up to be our primary utility man. Bat plays so far. Don’t think he is better defensively than our current Inf starters but could give them all a little more rest in those long stretches of the season without much drop off.

As a Pirates fan, I know a little something about bad baseball. And I can say you have to be careful about making decisions based on how someone plays late in a season when the team is out of it.

I know he has to play third more/better to be a true utility man but I don’t see why Jorge Mateo is a better option than Jackson is.

Im more so talking just a full time starter in the outfield and a back up infielder. Who is in line as the full time Right Fielder?
