Look at the headline everyone is callously reporting. 17% are NAMED fighters. That means those are the fighters Israel has a record of. How many killed combatants could the US put a name to? Hamas doesn't have dog tags or uniforms

So you're saying that the IDF doesn't have good intelligence (let alone the issue of IDF credibility). Since *Israeli hostages* have been mistaken for Hamas and killed, plus these assumptions the numbers are large, I suspect (not a claim) that all military aged males are taken as Hamas.

I'm saying the IDF is not omnipotent. They cannot put a name to a face for every member of hamas. That report was being taken out of context because it was about Israel trying to assess depletion of hamas ranks not a precise audit of the dead. The hostage incident had to do with the tunnel darkness

And they weren't under-counting. What was leaked was Israel trying to determine named hamas members who officially have been verified as dead. What was reported was a distortion that everyone not reported as hamas was a civilian. This is the third time I've explained this and will not do it again

There's no famine. It's ridiculous. We've been 2 weeks away from a famine for 2 years. The death by malnourished rate in gaza is less than it is in america. Go look at actual famine in Sudan than look at gaza. It's vastly different on sight.

At the least, Hamas government members are counted as if they're military. Finally- Palestinian losses are so huge, it's just plain ghoulish to quibble over this.

It's ghoulish to breezily make Israel guilty for a genocide when it did not start the war and has been trying under impossible conditions to limit civilian casualties. hamas uses the populations as a human shield. hamas is incentivized by the deaths of their people. It's good propaganda for them
