If I recall correctly, that was in a place that was never called Canada. We're arguing about when US troops made a hostile entrance into a place called, "Canada."

Interested. I learned a tiny bit about the war of 1812. Anyway, we didn't start that war so you can't call defensive attacks "invasions." Ukraine has not "invaded Russia" recently. It was a counter attack. War is messy. SO, thank you. Bye.

In any event, Googling now, it seems the area was called "The Canadas" (upper and lower) at the time (1791 and later).
