Try to keep up. OP implied that CHP, badged and trained law enforcement officers, doing law enforcement was as bad as the National Guard going into DC as a stunt.

I'm trying, but you're not making a point, and not answering questions. I know that OP was suggesting the expanded law enforcement was bad. I agree. ACAB, etc. You're now calling the NG deployment a stunt, diminishing its importance. You don't think it's that bad, is't just a stunt. Right?

It is a stunt. Trained law enforcement doing law enforcement within an area where they have actual jurisdiction is not the same as a wannabe dictator sending troops into a place they have no business being.

I don't think we have control over the cops going in, but that would be an excellent point if we did. From the other poster though it seemed like he didn't mind the NG going in cause it's just a stunt and they won't actually go after anyone.
