I've never been there. But I've watched several documentaries and met some Indian people at a conference where we discussed differences and similarities between our cultures. And everyday life is so much more interesting than sightseeing highlights, at least to me.
Ohhhhhhhhh, looking at your own unique style of photography, Gilbert, I doubt you'd ever leave the place with the diversity of subjects, settings and scenarios playing out like a movie every single day. I've never experimented with drugs, but India seems very like what I may have missed if I had!!!
Thankyou Áine. I really can imagine that. My former boss went to India about 20 years ago. He took his camcorder with him and strolled through Mumbai and recorded almost everything. Only by watching it my senses almost got overstimulated. So in real life, I imagine it would feel like being on drugs.
Spent 9 years in Mumbai and loved every one of them. Organised chaos!!!
