While Syria was blowing up yesterday and I was changing channels all over the place to try to get the latest info both CNN and MSNBC were still obsessing over the CEO shooting. Would that they would obsess over the 7 American children a day who die by gun.

I feel so much better by staying away from cable news. I haven’t watched since election eve.

I honestly never watch the news I listen to it and now I can't even listen to it the only redeeming person to me is Rachel Maddow I wish you would go back on five nights a week

It’s remarkable that so many of us have just turned off cable news and pretty much tanked them. We 24ml also fled the mean overlords, now we must band together and find a deliberate powerful strategy and tactics to keep our democracy.

We stopped watching MSNBC a couple of weeks ago. We never missed Rachel and miss her, we may watch her and Laurence as he was the only one to say anything about sane-washing. I don't think we miss anything else.

It is not difficult at all. I haven't watched any of them in many years. It is the same talking heads with the same viewpoints completely disconnected from reality

Watching msnbc and cnn and then switching to the comments of real people on YouTube I see a discrepancy in what is being broadcast and what peoples real opinions are about healthcare. Cable news is not reflective of what is going on in this country. They are reporting what they want us to hear.

I stopped watching the national news on election night. I do read a number of sources and watch the Midas Touch Network. I'm finding that I'm not whipsawed back & forth on an hourly basis. I do have a selective bias: no billionaire owned sources. Trust with them is nonexistent.

So glorious living without hearing from all the talking heads pretend like they care about the issues we live with everyday while raking in millions.
