the angle may just be pressuring the Lakers to do what he wants, rather than what Luka wants. Or at least to get more leverage than he has now. GS has serious interest in LeBron, and could do a clean swap for Jimmy's contract. The other big one is the Cavs.

Jimmy is great for the Ws but that's also as short-term a project as there is in the NBA. If they're all-in for Jimmy, they would be even moreso for LeBron. 'cause - it's wild, but true - he will still be better for the next two years most likely.
