Money in politics for the last 15 years has made electing representatives less by the population and more by the 💰 class. A manufactured catch-22, you want to represent your district, but you require more money to run than your constituency can afford. Focus on how money has subverted the process.
The DNC will not help unless you have at least a million bucks! I know this because I have worked with many candidates in red areas where money is needed! Another catch 22!

I remember watching Frank Zappa as a youth in political interviews where he railed about the threat of religion in our politics and legislation. He recognized that even the smallest faith-based legislation was a wedge of corruption our Republic couldn't afford. Damn, was he right or what?

I recognize that our congressional body is not representative of the 90% as much as the 10% when it comes to who is in control of our government. This has been the goal since before Reagan and actively being made possible since Ronald. Education has failed. People don't know civic duty or civics.
