When Abbott came out & said Cruz had talked to Trump & promised anything we (Tx) need, that made me realize why those 2 have MAJORLY sucked up to Trump (especially Cruz, after all Trump said about him) all these years. And Kerr county is red and several politicians kids go to those camps. 1/2

And what really broke my heart was finding out that they had voted down putting in an er flood alert system/sirens (more than once I heard) bc they didn't want to spend the money. Thank God they're having a special session so they don't have to wait to try again. 2/2
