I'm so sorry that you got what appears to me to be a rude surprise from those who you ought to have been able to trust the most. If it's any consolation, I know it happens in families. It happened in mine, due to the spiritual effects of selfish people who refused to embrace God in truth.
That's one reason that the classic scriptures seem to be so uptight about sexual relations outside of a committed marriage.
