Think one thing to note is it's water and/or electricity - which one it wastes more of depends on the server's location, but yeah it's a waste nonetheless.

Plus may not be an issue once more AI companies use ARM/RISC processors. But that sadly takes time.

Wouldn't really fix AI - if only because no matter how little it guzzles, that's still resources that would be better off going to Not The Fascist Plagiarism Machine. And it's a sort of 'i'll believe it when i see it' thing anyhow.

No just being realistic, the fight against AI in the US is hopeless as long as Trump is in office. I can adapt to AI and have even toyed with it, not out of laziness or out of defeat but to see how to use the tech in a practical manner and perhaps fight fire with fire.
