The problem is that BBC is reliable on other stories about other countries. But like NYT, etc, it is not reliable - never has been- on Israel.

Yes, I've noticed that. It's like Fox News, and Al Jazeera being mirrors of each other: one is wrong about most things BUT Israel & the other is right on most things BUT Israel.
