For now, yeah. It's tempting to pin our colors to the mast of those that take the fight to the oppressors, but when they emulate some of the actions of those they oppose it's the duty of voters to call them out so that people who can fight the fight while building community can rise for all of us.
My monster lives close to the surface, because sadly there are times when I must depend on it. Because that's what the lay of the land dictates.
I want to dream of a future where our monsters are no longer needed, and our strength comes from each other instead. Maybe it’s naive, maybe it’s unrealistic in today’s world, but that’s the future I strive for.
130 million Americans can't even read their children a book. Science has become the enemy. This isn't a mindset that's willing to evolve
I like that sentiment, but I think we're still too primitive to get there.
