Thank you! 😍
Thank you for sharing. It is beautiful.
We are seeing this beautiful lobster. It is 1:100 million odds to see this lobster. No, I would not eat it.
Beautiful!
Beautiful! If only the tree could talk, I'd attend the lecture.
Same! Imagine the tales it could tell 😍
Wow! ❤️
I love tree arches!
What trail is that on?
I believe this was on the Hall of Mosses, possibly Hoh River Trail. I get excited by the beauty and just start shooting. Then I look back and forget which shot was taken where 🫣
Sometime between 1976 and 1978 I was in the Olympic national Forest, hiking and exploring with a friend and a goshawk was nose diving me. Apparently she had a nest nearby and saw me as a threat. This was funny because at 16 a hawk bestowed the name Silverhawk on me. Long story.
That’s really cool 😎 Thank you for sharing.
A lot of kids would love that, he'll, I want to go play on the thing. Until I remember that I'm in my 60s and not enough spunk to get up there.
Thank you that is so therapeutic to walk by such a setting
😍😍😍😍😍😍
I miss the NW.
Wow, this looks like the entrance to a magical forest! 🌿✨ Did you stumble upon this by chance, or is this a regular hiking trail for you?
This is part of a trail called the ‘hall of mosses’ in the Hoh rainforest. The whole thing is simply incredible, it is ethereal.
That looks great
Thank you ♥️
This is the timeline cleanse I was looking for.

How…Enchanted✨🌳
Cool! Never seen that before.👍
I believe that tree arch was made by native or indigenous peoples. I thought I remembered that, but I Googled it to be sure 😊.
I love it even more! Thank you so much for commenting with this detail 😍
You're welcome! 😊
The Olympic National Forest is a truly magical place to be.
It sure is!
This is why I love living here. But fYI. Your house is just a bunch of dead wood to the rainforest. Constant battle.

Hoh?
Yes 😊🌲
Pretty sure I walked under that tree about 15 years ago. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
That’s awesome! My pleasure 😍
Gorgeous!
Ssshhhhhh. They’ll come for it
I wonder. What came first, the tree arch or the dirt path beneath it.
I’m very familiar with y.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Gorgeous!!!
Lightning 🌩 ⚡️ ⛈️ and 🌳 thrived.
Tree arches and tunnels are one of nature's best bonuses!
Breathtaking
An indication of underground water so I am told.
Oh how cool!
Here's a tree (or two) rooted at both ends on a trail in Simpson-Reed Memorial Grove in the NorCal redwoods.
Oh that’s awesome! Thank you for sharing!
I want to walk there.
It is ethereal 🥰
Nature is my religion. That’s where I feel a spiritual awaking.
Was just there last April- such a beautiful place! Amazing photo!
Thank you!
Please see reply on original post . Mark
Lastly celebrating the beauty right here in the USA 🇺🇸 Pacific Northwest is so important now with all the overemphasis on International concerns . Have a blessed Friday and weekend . Mark 😊
Yes! Thank you!
You are most welcome - Mark
I guess it is safe to say this is something not seen every day and so I am blessed to see it via the miracle of modern technology . 🙏❤️. Upon closer inspection I love the thick dense Forest canopy and the perspective of the lone man in comparison to it . continued…
So glad you enjoyed it! It’s a spectacular place.
It looks so dense and old - lots of old wonderful energy there from the past - Mark😊
Just yesterday we were talking about trailering up north again next year through the parks to Neah Bay. Its been some 10 years and Olympic and the Hoh rainforest are very calming places to be, so I don't think that will be a hard choice.😎
You know, I have yet to go to Neah Bay! I have plans to do it all the time, and it just never works out. I have to get there!
Thank you I needed to see that with all the BS going on. It’s good to get back to nature.
Beautiful! We were just up there a couple weeks ago - such an amazing place Here’s some photos from a recent trip to Mt Hood National Forest
Wowza! Those are gorgeous 😍
Nice
Very nice. A place to get married.. or divorced(😁).
Nature is wondrous
It sure is!
The mother does the most beautiful artwork, doesn’t she?
She truly does ♥️🥰
Lovely bit of nature. Thanks for sharing.
Two of my friends hiked here yesterday. What a coincidence
How cool! It is a magical spot, no doubt!
If trees could talk, oh, the stories they would tell.
Indeed!!
Perfect Natural beauty!
Nature…
I'll bet it's not "natural." I'll bet a Native American long ago bent a sapling across the path as a sign to his fellow tribal members.
I bet you’re right, which is even cooler!
