Yes, but that opens a huge can of worms, not just for them but for their families. Their civilian jobs might be at stake if the boss is a Trumpster. If it was me, I like to think I'd stay in and refuse an illegal order, but I'm not the one in that position.
It is a difficult position to be in for sure, but it’s an act that is needed to stop this usurpation of the military by the 🍊 tyrant. It’s going to take all of us for this fight

There is also the question of what happens next. Milley and other generals don’t want to be dictators, but if the entire Trump regime is made up of rotten criminal traitors than who should fill these highest positions in the government? As far as I can tell, nobody is qualified. And you can’t just
become a military dictatorship, that would not be good or constitutional either. So Milley needs to call for a new fair election as soon as he takes power so we can elect a new President. But you also have the problem of hardcore MAGA in the military who make up a significant portion.
So point is, this is not an easy problem to solve. Might be best to just let MAGA split into factions and destroy itself. Thats the do nothing and win approach. The problem is the amount of damage that will be done in the process, but I assume a civil war would also cause a ton of damage.
