Glory probably has the best side story in all of these games. Tragic, queer (at least I read it as such) in an awful way, and just profoundly indicative of what shadowrun as a setting is, all the while explaining lore and mechanics concepts.

Edit: reading a summary to refresh my memory (it's.been years since I played the game) Glory's story is just outright queer. I was thinking of a more "metaphorical" reading of it at first but I forgot that she just falls in love with another girl at some point.

Yes, that was a thing. It was super sad too what happened to her lover.
